/ C - No. 1708: AMENDMENTS TO RULES AND REGULATIONS - CIVIL SERVICE
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated January 26, 1976, submitting for approval:
(1) Amendments to the Civil Service and Compensation
Rules and Regulations adopted by the Civil Service
Commission and approved by the Mayor; and (2) Amend-
ments to the Rules and Regulations on Hours of Work,
Overtime and Premium Pay and Vacation and Sick Leave
adopted by the Director of Personnel Services and
approved by the Mayor.
Approve amendments.
c_ No. 1724: BOARD OF ETHICS REAPPOINTMENT
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated February 6, 1976,
submitting for confirmation the reappointment of
Sister Bernice to the Board of Ethics for a term
ending December 30, 1980.

RESOLUTION
,dee, Res. 544: BIG ISLAND COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM - REQUEST SUPPORT TO
CONTINUE POSITIONS THROUGH JUNE 30, 1977
Supports the request of the Big Island Council on
Alcoholism for State appropriation of $32 ,251 to continue
positions of two outreach workers and a resident
manager through June 30, 1977 and requests the Legis-
lature of the State of Hawaii to act favorably on this
consideration.
