�trfos h!!!!!!.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII _ '':'.'% STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . �rE os•M►..P . <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE ANNUAL OUTSTANDING OLDER <br /> AMERICANS AWARD LUNCHEON. <br /> WHEREAS, May is recognized as Older Americans Month, a time to celebrate and <br /> honor the contributions that seniors have made and continue to make in our community and our <br /> nation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Older Americans Month occurs annually and dates back to 1963 when <br /> President John F. Kennedy, through a proclamation, designated May as Senior Citizens Month, <br /> which was later renamed Older Americans Month; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Aging is requesting funds to assist with expenses associated <br /> with hosting this year's Outstanding Older Americans Award Luncheon for honored seniors; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Office of Aging to <br /> assist with expenses associated with the annual Outstanding Older Americans Award Luncheon <br /> on May 5, 2017. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,500 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.411.5411.02 Office of Aging $2,500 <br /> Office of Aging OCE <br /> 341 Misc.
