To whom this may concern:
Referring to Res:49-17, I support putting lifeguards at Kua Bay.They are much needed. The citizens of Hawaii County,
along with visiting tourists, need lifeguards at Kua Bay.It is an extremely popular and at times, a dangerous beach.We
need experienced Water Safety Officers to protect the public. The beach is far from the closest fire station so if there is
trouble, help will arrive too late to save a life.There has been enough drownings to make putting lifeguards there a
priority. Do the right thing before another life is lost. Staff Kua Bay with County water Safety Officers.
