submitting for consideration and approval an appointee
to the Kailua Village Special District and Urban Design
Review Commission.
Approve of the appointment.

dated December 10, 1974, submitting for information
their proposal D-1 - Relating to the Preservation of
Agricultural Lands by the Establishment of Agricultural
Parks .

proposal.
�No. 1138.5 : SENIOR CITIZENS ' STAND-BY RATE PLAN

Hawaiian Airlines , dated February 3 , 1975 , informing
in response to Resolution 323 Hawaiian has filed an
application to reinstate the senior citizen standby
fare for effectiveness March 15, 1975.

1975 , regarding a "package" from the State of Hawaii
requesting approval of the exchange of certain land
parcels between the Department of Land and Natural
Resources and the Hawaiian Homes Commission.
1150.1: From Governor George R. Ariyoshi dated January 28, 1975 ,
enclosing a copy of letter to Secretary of the Interior
withdrawing request for the exchange of land at Hoopuloa.

"No. 1169 : KOHALA TASK FORCE AND RELATED PROBLEMS
From John W. Goemans , Attorney at Law, dated January 31,
1975 , commending Council for promptness of response to
issue raised regarding improprieties on the part of
certain members of the Kohala Task Force and related
problems and informing that it has been brought to his
attention that one member of the Task Force was a
stockholder and/or officer of at least one company
which sought money from the Task Force, but does not
know if such money was granted.

RESOLUTIONS
No. 340 : KONA AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION - PRESERVE MACADAMIA
NUT TREES
Endorses and supports preservation of macadamia nut trees
at the Kona Agricultural Experiment Station.

No. 342 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
Amends Salary Ordinance for positions in Planning
Department.
Approve and recommend adoption.
RECOMMENDATION
Acs . No. 1: LOW COST HOUSING AND LAND
<f-1,5 Express Council' s position in wishing to provide its
people with lower cost housing and land as a priority
item and request administration to analyze various
avenues open to us to possibly achieve that result
