dated May 1, 1976, informing that the expiration date for
compliance of the conditions stipulated in Ordinance 99
was March 11, 1976 and requests that this matter be given
immediate attention and a response submitted within seven
days upon receipt of the letter.

From Christopher Cobb, Chairman of the Board of Land and
Natural Resources , dated April 30, 1976, informing that
William Ellis Trail is a major recreation and major
historic trail of resource value; trail will be identified
in current study of Recreation Resources and Trails and
Accessways of the Island of Hawaii ; in July will review
with local government agencies and general public input
on trail and other significant resource sites for Hawaii
Island-wide Plan.
