No. 1783 : SIGN VARIANCE REQUEST - KILAUEA SHELL SERVICE STATION Q From Patrick Figueira, Manager, Kilauea Shell Service Station, dated March 18, 1976, requesting a variance to erect a portable sign, 4 feet by 5 feet, to display their gasoline prices . ASJ,C- 1783.1: From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated May 14, 1976, recommending that the sign variance be approved based on stipulations , as contained in the communication. Accept recommendation of Chief Engineer and approve sign variance request subject to stipulations, as contained in the communication. No. 1815 : SIGN VARIANCE REQUEST - TV SERVICE CENTER From Robert S. Kataoka, TV Service Center, dated April 2, 1976, requesting a variance to install a 6-foot sign at his business on Mamo Street. 1815.1: From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated May 13, 1976 submitting comments on the subject request and recommends that the sign variance be approved. Should this request be granted the existing projecting sign shall be removed. Receive and file. No. 1872: WAIMANU VALLEY From Helen S . Baldwin, Chairman, Flora & Fauna Committee, Hawaii Island Conservation Council, dated May 11, 1976, informing that while they realize that Waimanu Valley is under the jurisdiction of the State, urges the County to act favorably towards trying to get Waimanu Valley set aside for a Natural Area and Estuary Sanctuary. Support proposal provided fair land exchanges or purchases can be consummated by the parties concerned. ORDINANCE Bill 226 : PARK DEDICATION CODE Amends Chapter 17, Article 3, Section 4, Hawaii County Code, relating to the effective date of the park dedication code.
