ment and Legislative Committee which were considered at its meeting of
September 21, 1976 :

No. 1968 : WAIMEA FARMING NEEDS
From Councilman William S . Kawahara dated August 6, 1976,
stating that action by government is desperately needed
to assist the farming industry in Waimea and that fore-
most among the needs are water, land and transportation.
1968. 1 : From John Farias , Jr. , Chairman of the Board of Agriculture,
Department of Agriculture, dated September 1, 1976, informing
they are currently in the process of developing a State-wide
Agricultural Plan which will focus initially on the State' s
physical agricultural resources so that they will be in a
better position to assess the agricultural priority areas
throughout the state and allocate resources accordingly.
