Your Committee of the Whole to which was referred:
Bill 477: SALARY ORDINANCE FOR 1979
(Amended) Establishes the number and rates of compensation
for all positions in departments, offices and other
agencies of the County of Hawaii under the legislative
control of the County Council, designates payroll
periods, pay days, prescribes certain requirements
with respect to overtime, perquisites and official
fidelity bonds; and repeals Ordinance 3$1, and all
amendments thereto; said ordinance to be known as
the Salary Ordinance of 1979.

recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 477, as amended, on second
and final reading.
(Councilmembers Kawahara and Sameshima
voted "aye under protest" . )
