Industry Committee which were considered at its meeting of June 4, 1973 :

May 16, 1973, submitting an outline of the scope of
work for the subject study which us estimated to cost
$100, 000.
Refer to:
(1) The Committee of the Whole for
consideration in the 1973-74 budget;
(2) The State Department of Land and
Natural Resources to pursue financial
assistance from the State;
( 3 ) Hawaii Sugar Planters Association to
evaluate the methodology and cost
benefit ratio;
(4) Land Study Bureau of the University
of Hawaii for input on cost parameters
and evaluation of methodology.
(5) Representative Jack Suwa for consideration
and input.

Recommends that the Council support
1st District Representative Jack
Suwa in his efforts to fund the Kau
agricultural water study project
through legislative appropriation
and that Comm. 318 be referred to
Representative Suwa and Governor Burns
for their information.
