The following are the recommendations of the Agriculture and
Visitor Industry Committee which were considered at its meeting of
October 16, 1973:

From Akira Fujimoto, Manager, Department of Water
Supply, dated October 2 , 1973 , submitting comments
on Water requirements for subdivisions.
Receive and file and transmit
copy of letter to Mr. Kubojiri
for his information.
No. 514: COCONUT TREES - LAUPAHOEHOE POINT
From Walter Victor, Jr. , President, Hawaiian Civic
Club of North Hilo, dated October 1, 1973, transmitting
a copy of a letter sent ,to the Mayor regarding the
coconut trees at Laupahoehoe Point and requests support
of the Council on this matter.
Receive and file and advise writer
of the work that is being done by
the County Administration, County
Council, State Department of Agriculture,
and Norman Bezona of the Cooperative
Extension Service, in their efforts to
preserve the coconut palms at Laupahoehoe
Point Park.
