The following are the recommendations of the Agriculture and Visitor
Industry Committee which were considered at its meeting of June 10, 1974:

No. 849 : PRESERVATION OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS
From Mayor Shunichi Kimura dated May 13, 1974, seeking
consideration of a policy that would prevent the "automatic"
subdivision of agricultural lands by tax key parcels and
suggests possible solutions . Recommends also the appro-
priation of additional funds to hire consultants to develop
the details of the maximum agricultural lot-size program
and that the first priority area be North Kohala.
