The following is the recommendation of the Agriculture and Visitor
IndustryCommittee which was considered at its meetingof June 26, 1974:
COMMUNICATION
No. 795. 1: INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL AGRICULTURE RESEARCH INSTITUTE
From Acting Governor George R. Ariyoshi dated June 3,
1974, acknowledging receipt of a letter regarding the
Council' s support of Senate Resolution 195 on the
establishment in Hawaii of an international tropical
agriculture research institute and advising that they
intend to pursue this goal with continuing vigor.
