Donnelly, Congressional Relations Officer, Civil Aeronautics Board, regarding application of intra-Hawaii common fares to Travel Group Charters (TGC) . Support Mayor on his determina- tion of having intra-Hawaii common fares apply to Travel Group Charters (TGC) . m,C-No. 121 : LEGISLATIVE BILLS From AVIC Chairman dated February 9 , 1973, submitting legislative bills for favorable consideration. Suggests the Committee recommend to the Council support of the bills and refer to the Legislative Committee for lobbying. Request the Corporation Counsel to draft a legislative bill incorporating Item No. 1 of the Legislative Auditor' s report to *C0j regulate the sale of opihis . No. 132 : . FLUORIDATION OF WATER SUPPLIES From Mrs . Hazel Thompson, Chairman, Big Island Citizen' s Committee for Fluoridation, dated February 12, 1973, submitting for approval a draft of an ordinance to amend the ordinances of the County of Hawaii by adding a new chapter relating to fluoridation of water supplies. Request the Corporation Counsel to draft a bill to require fluoridation within safe health limits to implement fluoridation of water systems throughout the County of Hawaii in conformity with applicable state statutes. Taxation of Agricultural Lands Refer to the Agriculture and Visitor Industry Committee. 410 - 4 - February 16, 1973 No. 147: MINIMUM REAL PROPERTY TAX (Rec. 1/FC-3) From Deputy Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess dated February 16, 1973, transmitting a short form bill relating to increasing the minimum real property tax from $1.00 to $50.00. Approve for lobbying. RESOLUTIONS No. 24: HAWAII ENGLISH PROGRAM Encourages the Legislature of the State of Hawaii to retain HEP as an on-going program for the benefit of pre-school and primary grade children. Intr. By: Mr. Fujii Approve and recommend adoption. �No. 25 : WATER SYSTEM FOR HONOMALINO AREA OF SOUTH KONA Requests the Legislature of the State of Hawaii to grant to the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawaii, funds necessary for the drilling, casing and testing of an exploratory well in order that the Department of Water Supply, in cooperation with the Department of Land and Natural Resources , may conduct a study which will provide the basis for the establishment of an adequate water system for the Honomalino area of South Kona. Comm. 147: MINIMUM REAL PROPERTY TAX (Rec. 1/FC-3 ) From Deputy Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess dated February 16, 1973 , transmitting a short form bill relating to increasing the minimum real property tax from $1.00 to $50.00. Recommend increasing the minimum real property tax from $1 to $25 and approve for lobbying.
