From Norman Sakata, President of the Kona Arts Center,
dated June 25, 1973, submitting a progress report of
the Holualoa Church Restoration project.

From Hugh A. Hall, Acting Director of the American
Revolution Bicentennial Commission, inviting the
County to participate in the "Bicentennial Communities”
Program.
Acknowledge receipt of the
communication and recommend
that Hawaii County's participa-
tion be through the State
Bicentennial Commission.
�No. 407: HONOKOHAU HISTORIC LANDMARK
From County Clerk Tadashi Suzuki dated August 9,
1973, transmitting for information and disposition
a Resolution from the Honokohau Study Advisory
Commission petitioning the Kona Coast Development 1
Company to immediately cease all dredging and pumping
operations at Kaloko Pond and requesting the, U. S.
Corps of Engineers to take appropriate legal action to
stop said dredging and pumping operations.
