The following are the recommendations of the Social and Cultural
Development Committee which were considered at its meeting of
January 21, 1974 :

From Louis Wozar, President, Town Affiliation Asso-
ciation, dated November 16, 1973 , congratulating the
County of Hawaii on becoming a member of the Town
Affiliation Association of the United States, Inc . :

to . 461.3 : RACINE COUNTY - SISTER COUNTY
From Thor Lieungh, Supervisor, Racine County, dated
December 14, 1973 , hoping that the relationship between
the two counties can be an amiable and everlasting
friendship :

Ltd- No. 471.1: SISTER CITY LEGAZPI
From Councilman Dante K . Carpenter dated January $, 1974,
informing that Miss Mildred Tolentino who spent three
days at the County's Sister City of Legazpi extending
her personal courtesies to the Honorable Mayor Gregorio S .
Imperial and other friends of that city, has permitted to
loan the Council for its perusal: (1) a magazine titled,
Filoil Pipeline, 1973, which provides a good overview of
Legazpi City and its people and (2 ) an album which
pictorially documents part of her visitation.
Recommends that this "package" be circulated to each
Councilman and that this letter be entered as an official
communication to the Council to indicate the Council 's
pleasure and approval of Miss Tolentino 's efforts to
help further the ties between the sister cities and to
show the fine hospitality extended by friends from
Legazpi City:
