The following are the recommendations of the Joint Committees
of Planning, Research and Development and Public Works which were
considered at their meeting of January 10, 1973 :

, C- No. 37: SIGN VARIANCE - YELLOW SUBMARINE (C-2068)
From Chief Engineer dated December 14, 1972,
informing that they concur with the findings
of the Planning Department and recommends approval
of the variance provided the sign is not lighted
in any way.
Accept recommendation of the
Chief Engineer and that a
variance be granted provided
the sign is not lighted in any
way.
d- No. 44: SIGN VARIANCE - POLYNESIAN VILLAGE (C-1594)
From Chief Engineer dated December 18, 1972,
concurring with the Planning Department' s
findings and recommends approval of the variance.
Accept recommendation of the
Chief Engineer and that a
variance be granted.
