CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS COMMUNICATIONS ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Serving the Interest% of the People of Our Island Ilan wYCounty is on ritual Opportun[ty Provider and E ..ploy'eu PC -3 BILLS FOR ORDINANCES March 7, 2017 Bill 227 AMENDS CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE 1, ARTICLE 2, AND ARTICLE 4 OF THE (Draft 2): HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING (2014-2016) TO AGRICULTURAL TOURISM The bill would amend Sections 25-1-5(b) (Definitions); 25-2-71(g) (Applicability; plan approval required); and 25-2-75, Plan approval application requirements; as they pertain to Agricultural Tourism. Also would amend Section 25-4-15 (Agricultural Tourism). Reference: Intr. by: Postponed: Referred to Planning Director and Planning Commissions Comm. 979.7 Ms. Wille August 16, September 20, and October 4, 2016 October 18, 2016 (Note: There is a motion by Ms. Wille, seconded by Ms. Poindexter, to recommend passage of Bill 227, as amended, on first reading.) ; and Comm. 124: From Mayor Harry Kim, dated February 14, 2017, transmitting the Windward and Leeward Planning Commissions' unfavorable recommendations. Submitting Video Testimony: Those submitting video testimony may email a complete web address (url) to videotestimonyghawaiicounty_.gov before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date, agenda item (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video submittal. Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item. Video submittals may contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the meeting.
