The following is the recommendation of the Planning, Research
and Development and Public Works Committees which was considered
at its meeting of January 22, 1974:
COMMUNICATION
No. 641: KONA AD HOC COMMITTEE (Rec. 1/PRDC-17)
From Kona Ad Hoc Committee dated December 21, 1973,
recommending the following:
1. The Kailua-Kona mall plan be deactivated and
filed for future reference;
2. The suggestion that the slate be wiped clean
so that various improvement projects may be
started be adopted; and
3. A Kona District Historical Advisory Commission
be formed to advise the County in matters of
planning and enhancement of the quality of
life in Kona.
Approve of the Kona Ad Hoc
Committee' s recommendations .
