Kealakekua Heights Subdivision. . 4c,.)(6-71.1-No . 111: Andrew Okubo, Realtor, Kamaai.na Realty Re : Installation of Private Waterline Within Okino Subdivision Improvement District - Request Council 's permission to install a private waterline within Okino Subdivision Improvement District to service one lot which is situated approximately 450 feet from the watermain located on Kaumana Drive : 111.1: Chief Engineer Recommends that the Council allow Mr. Okubo to install the waterline, subject to the conditions stated : Approve the recommendation of the Chief Engineer to allow Mr. Andrew Okubo to install the waterline, subject to the conditions stated . Forbes, Pres. , Hamakua Traffic Safety Committee Re : Proposed Dog Leash Law - Copy of a letter to the Mayor requesting that hearings be held in all districts so that everyone may have az opportunity to express themselves : Inform Mr. Forbes that no public hearings have been held and should hearings be scheduled before final passage of the proposed bill that public hearings will be held in the rural districts as well as in Hilo . : ENTP 163 : Jean J. Request the Council to determine whether their subdivision in the Puna district could fit into some form of Improvement District that might be covered by Resolution No . 188, dated August 2, 1967 : Refer to the Chief Engineer for a recommendation and report back to the committee . No. 164 : Felix Asia On behalf of the people of Newstable, Camp 10, Honokaa, submits requests for 1) new light bulbs for street lights ; and 2) fire hose for two fire hydrants : Refer to the Mayor for his disposition and report back to the Council. !, ,, 110 11, PWC Report 6 - 3 - March 2$, 1969 MOTION M-23 : It was moved, seconded and carried that the Public Works Committee look into. the possibility of the use of the improvement district concept for the improvements of paper roads, homestead roads and County access roads in future developments : Refer to the Chief Engineer for his suggestions. RECOMMENDATIONS so .No. 1: Abandoned Vehicles Request the administration to expedite the removal of abandoned vehicles as quickly as possible .
