SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-281 REVISION
We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5. Parking,
Section 24-281, Schedule 29. Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets;
tow away zone, Paragraph (c) South Hilo be amended by deleting existing items 28, 29,
30, and 31 and renumbering as required:
• Derby Lane, except for northeast side, from Wilson Street to southeastern terminus,
from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Traffic Code Amendments — Derby Lane/Wilson Street cont'd
This purpose of this amendment is to revise the existing no parking zones along Derby
Lane and Wilson Street to better address the current needs in the area.
