The following are the recommendations of the Public Works
Committee which were considered at its meeting of January 16,
1970:

Re: Request for Driveway Ordinance Variance -
Auditorium-Theater U.H.H.C. (D.A.G.S. Job No .
01-31-0184.2)
Recommends the Council' s favorable consideration of
the subject request as stated in the attached letter
from the State Department of Accounting and General
Services:
Recommends approval.
No. 690: County Clerk
Transmits for the Council' s information a letter
from Mr. & Mrs. Tooru Murakami objecting to the
proposed assessment of Assessment Lot No. 13,
Improvement District No. 5, Kishi Subdivision,
S. Kona:
Request the County Clerk to
inform the writers of the
improvement district statutes.

Re: Road Encroachment - TMK: 1-4-02, Parcel 9
Recommends that the conveyance of the government
road encroachment area into the Oneloa Co. , Inc. ' s
land be accepted by the County of Hawaii and the
Corporation Counsel be requested to prepare the
necessary documents for conveyance, at no cost to
the property owner:

the Final Assessment Report and to give public notice
for a public hearing on the total amount of the
