Copy of a letter to the Mayor from George P. Holt,
First Assistant for the Ombudsman, regarding a complaint
from Mr. Richard Northwood on the subject matter .
Requests that they be informed of the County's street
naming policy and whether or not such a policy requires
that a street name have a meaning:

No . 1360: COUNTY ACCESS RIGHTS-OF-WAY - PUAKO, SOUTH KOHALA
Councilman Hisaoka submits for consideration and
disposition, a letter from Mr. Leon A. Thevenin,
recommending the following to keep the rights-of-way
clear for the public :
1. Clear all access roads and maintain these .
2. Place refuse containers at each roadway to the
beach and contract the removal of accumulated
material each Monday.
3 . Post the required anti-litter signs and enforce
same:

2. Authorize the Department of
Finance to negotiate or call
for bids for the hauling of
refuse containers at six
beach rights-of-way.
