ACTION: Recommend that the Council go on record as being
in favor of having a uniform building, electrical,
and plumbing codes for all the counties, and request
the Council Chairman to convey this position to the
Hawaii State Association of Counties.

that the State has requested that they be furnished with
a written concurrence from the County Council, approving
the withdrawal of the land needed from the Governor' s
Executive Order No. 1931, for road improvement purpose.

the pamphlet, "Hilo Bay Pollution Study" sent by Dr. John
Chan of Hilo College. Hopes that some action is taken to
correct the situations that exist in the Bay.
