Andrews, President, Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, dated March 30 , 1977 informing that the Chamber supports the County' s efforts in acquiring Baker' s Beach as a public facility and urges the Council to provide funds for the acquisition, improvement and installation of restrooms for this beach. Receive and file; and inform writer of action taken on C-135/FC-5 . 'No. 241 : VANDALISM - PANAEWA RACE TRACK Copy of letter to Mayor Matayoshi from Panaewa Horse Owners dated March 16, 1977 requesting 24-hour protection at the Panaewa Race Track because of a recent outbreak of vandalism. Suggests a locked gate ' be installed at the entrance with patrol every two hours or a standing guard from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. 241: 1: Presentation at April 6 Public Services Committee meeting by Judy McFarland requesting solution to the vandalism problem at Panaewa Race Track. {5.c_ C- 241. 2: Presentation at April 6 Public Services Committee meeting by Laverne K. Hakoda, dated °March 30, 1977 reporting on the problem of the surge condition in the use of the boat ramp and winch • at Mahukona.
