My name is Karen Rosen and I am writing in support of Bill 13. This is an important move to protect our
environment and our fragile island home.
I am a restaurant owner and have been using the compostable to go ware for years. I realize Styrofoam is an
affordable alternative to the more expensive compostable packaging. My customers are happy and willing to
pay a small bit more to know they are contributing to a sustainable solution. The cost is not prohibitive.
Please make a stand now! Vote to ban Styrofoam!
