COMMUNICATIONS iNo. 119. 1 : SUGGESTIONS FOR UTILIZING REMAINING HISTORIC SITES AS COMMUNITY AND VISITOR ATTRACTIONS From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated February 28, 1977 , informing that they will attempt to reply to C-119 by March 14 with their comments and recommenda- tions regarding the feasibility of preserving old plantation camps closer to town that could possibly create an attraction for tourists, such as Wainaku Camp. Receive and file. No. 189 : UNITED STATES INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION DECISION From Research & Development Director Clarence W. Garcia dated March 3, 1977 , informing they have received word that the U. S. International Trade Commission has voted in Washington, D. C. to report to President Jimmy Carter and the U. S. Senate Finance Committee that foreign sugar imports are damaging American' s domestic sugar industry; expects the commission will meet early next week to consider the specific recom- mendation they will make to the President and the Congress for a proper course of action.
