From Sam I . Ishigo dated February 26 , 1977 transmitting
pertinent information about their proposed Village Fair
and Team Relays and informs will appreciate any assistance
the Committee on Agriculture and Tourism can provide for
their events .
Receive and file; and request
Corporation Counsel to prepare
a resolution supporting the
Honomu Village Fair and Volcano
to Honomu Team Relays .
,Er. j - No. 217 : CAB - AMELIORATE AIR FREIGHT RATES FOR HAWAIIAN FLOWERS
From George M. Takane, Clerk, House of Representatives ,
transmitting Resolution No. 316 requesting the United
States Department of Agriculture, the State Departments
of Agriculture, Transportation, and Planning and Economic
Development , and the delegation to the Congress from
the State of Hawaii to intervene with the Civil Aeronautics
Board to ameliorate air freight rates for Hawaiian flowers .
Recommend Council go on record to
support House Resolution No. 316 .
