From Frank J. Zuzak , COINS OF HAWAII , dated April 10 ,
1977 recommending Council meticulously analyze
Councilman Kawahara' s "position paper" on a beauti-
fication program for its direct or indirect merits
and promptly initiate "constructive action" .
e_ 279: BEAUTIFICATION OF BIG ISLAND
Copy of letter to Jose Basque from Councilman Kawahara
dated April 19 , 1977 , thanking him for his letter and
enclosures concerning ideas and proposals for beautifica-
tion of the Big Island and informs that these will be
referred to the Council for examination and action.

Councilman Sameshima to coor-
dinate with administration a
beautification program for the
Big Island.

No. 79: HONOMU VILLAGE FAIR (C-200/ATC-6)
Supports the people of Honomu in holding their first
open village fair on June 25th and 26th, 1977.
Approve and recommend adoption.
