The following are the recommendations of the Committee on Agriculture
and Tourism which were considered at its meeting of October 26, 1977:
COMMUNICATIONS
/0e, No. 310. 2: KOHALA TASK FORCE
From ATC Chairman James L. K. Dahlberg dated October 19,
1977, transmitting for information correspondence and
other material relating to the Kohala Task Force.
Receive and file Communication 310. 2.
Recall report of the special ATC meet-
ing of October 17, 1977 regarding
Communication 310. 1 (ATC-20 ) and
amend as follows :
Recommend that the full Council
investigate the Kohala Task
Force and its projects to deter-
mine as to the manner in which
the $1,8 million in County
funds were expended.
Further recommend that the full
Council be requested to engage
the services of experts and
consultants to assist in the
investigation.

From Council Chairman Harvey S. Tajiri dated October 13 ,

President, Zachary and Front, Inc. , dated September 29 ,
1977, offering their services to promote tourism and
agriculture in Hawaii.
