The following are the recommendations of the Committee on Finance which
were considered at its meeting of May 26, 197$:
COMMUNICATIONS
40- e- No . 797: REVISION OF OVERTIME INSPECTION RATE
(Bill 398) From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated May 9, 1978,
submitting a bill for an ordinance that proposes to amend
the definition of "Cost" under paragraph 3, Section 9.01,
Article 10, Chapter 2, Hawaii County Code, to make the
overtime hourly rate for inspectional services be estab-
lished by the Chief Engineer at his discretion commensurate
with the changing costs for services:
Approve and recommend passage
of Bill 39$ on first reading.

of Representatives, dated April 24 , 1978, transmitting for
information the following: the State Supplemental
Appropriations Budget for 1978-79, the State Capital

by the Legislative Reference Bureau of all bills passed
this year by the Ninth Legislature:
