Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
A Comm. 899: ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS AND DONATIONS
From Fire Chief Donald Thompson dated August 14,
1978, submitting for acceptance in compliance with
Section 13-12 , Hawaii County Charter, a list of
donors and the amount. Informs acceptance of
the donations will not influence the department ' s
enforcement of existing statutes , laws , rules and
regulations , codes or any other instruments of
enforcement for preferential treatment;
recommends, pursuant to County Charter, Section 13-12, acceptance
of the donations and that the County Clerk be directed to send a
letter of acknowledgement to each donor.
