Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
ARS- Comm. 904: PLANNING DEPARTMENT - INSTALLMENT PURCHASE OF IBM
(Res. 308) MAGNETIC CARD II SELECTRIC TYPEWRITER
From Planning Director Sidney Fuke dated August 15,
1978, enclosing a resolution authorizing Planning
Department to enter into an installment contract
for the purchase of an IBM Mag Card II Selectric
Typewriter;
recommends the Planning Department be authorized to purchase an IBM
Magnetic Card Selectric Typewriter or its equivalent on an install-
ment plan basis extending over 36 months, and that necessary funds
be provided in the following two fiscal years to cover the obligation
of the County under the installment purchase agreement to be entered
into by the Mayor for the benefit of the Planning Department and the
accompanying Resolution 308 be adopted by the Council to accomplish
this purpose.
