Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 648.1: STATE v. DUKELOW - EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OF
ANDREW WILSON
From Prosecuting Attorney Jon R. Ono dated
July 24, 1978, enclosing copy of letter from
Andrew P. Wilson, Esq. , regarding his handling
of the Dukelow case and requesting that this
matter be discussed as soon as possible.
/5a, C'- 648. 2: From Prosecuting Attorney Jon R. Ono dated
August 31, 1978, informing he has received
a letter dated August 28, 1978, from Andrew P.
Wilson regarding the final billing for the
State of Hawaii v. Dukelow case. After
speaking with Mr. Wilson by telephone, it is
his understanding that the amount of $13, 298. 56
is the final accounting, that any further
motions connected with sentencing and the
sentencing hearing itself will not be billed
to the County of Hawaii by Mr. Wilson.
Because of the many hours of work, the
complexity of the case and sacrifices by
Mr. Wilson, urges a favorable consideration
of this request by Mr. Wilson;

recommends the Council approve the sum of $10,000 as the final
accounting to Special Prosecutor Andrew P. Wilson inthe case
of the State of Hawaii v. Dukelow, and refer to the Finance
Director for funding.
