Your Committee on Finance to which was referred: ,
Comm. 907: WORKERS ' COMPENSATION CLAIMS
From Deputy Corporation Counsel, Reginald P.
Minn, dated August 23, 1978 , requesting an
executive session to discuss the possibility
of settling the claims of David K. Paea and
George Thompson for workers ' compensation
benefits;
recommends the Councilauthorize the Corporation Counsel 's Office
- to settle the workers ' compensation claim of George Thompson for
a sum not to exceed $31,000. 'Monies for Mr. Thompson' s settlement
shall come from the Highway Fund.
•
The claim of David K. Paea is to be acted upon by the Water
Commission.
