Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
44 Comm. 101.2: AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY
From Deputy Corporation Counsel Alan M. Okamoto
dated October 2, 1978, requesting approval of a
proposed program between the Office of Aging and
the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii to provide legal
services to the elderly for the term, October 1,
197$ through September 30, 1979 . Informs funding
from the County Office of Aging will be from funds
received under the Federal Older Americans Act
program;
recommends Council approve the agreement between the County of Hawaii
Office of Aging and the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii to provide legal
services to the elderly for the term, October 1, 1978 through
September 30, 1979, with the understanding that funding for said
program will be from the Federal Older Americans Act .
