Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
4-c-c Comm. 957 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 322) DEPARTMENT . OF FINANCE - DIVISION OF ACCOUNTS
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated October 11, 1978, submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the Salary Ordinance as a result
of a classification study completed by their office,
which was duly authorized by the Department of Finance
and the Administrative Review Committee in accordance
with Section 4-5 (c ) of the County Charter. The
reallocation of the position of Data Processing
Systems Analyst SR-24 to Computer Specialist SR-24
is for the broadened use of the employee to include
duties relating to systems analysis, programming and
supervision of operating unit . Funding will be from
departmental budget ;
recommends Council approve the reallocation of the position of Data
Processing Systems Analyst SR-24 to Computer Specialist SR-24 in the
Department of Finance, Division of Accounts, and the accompanying
Resolution No . 322 be adopted to accomplish this purpose.
This reallocation is in compliance with C-649 .3/FC-33 that the Finance
Director be authorized to "implement those items that need to be done in
order to proceed with the EDP system for the County of Hawaii . "
