Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 888: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 299) DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
From Edward L. Silva, Director of Personnel Services,
dated August 8, 1978, submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the Salary Ordinance asa
result of classification studies completed by
their office which was duly authorized by the
Department of Public Works and the Administrative
Review Committee in accordance with Section 4-5(c)
of the County Charter. Funding will be from
departmental budget;
•
recommends deletion of Section 8.08(e) from Resolution 299 and
referral back to Department of Personnel Services for resubmission of
said section in a separate resolution.
Further recommends Council approve the reallocation of one position
of Tree Trimming Truck and Ladder Operator WB-6 (temporary as needed) ,
North and South Kohala, to Mason WB-10 (temporary as needed) and
transferring position to Hamakua and North Hilo, and Resolution 299,
as revised, be adopted to accomplish this purpose.
