Silva, Director of Personnel Services, dated November 30, 197$ submitting for adoption, a resolution to amend the Salary Ordinance as a result of creation of new positions, which were duly authorized by the Police Department and the Administrative Review Committee in accordance with Section 4-5 (c ) of the County Charter. Federal funding has been approved to create a special Traffic Enforcement . Unit within the Police Department ; recommends Council approve the addition of one new position of Police Sergeant SR-21, nine new positions of Police Officer SR-18, and one new position of Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 to create a special Traffic Enforcement Unit within the Police Department and the accompanying Resolution No. 354 be adopted to accomplish this purpose.
