Matayoshi dated December 14, 197$ submitting for adoption, ordinance bills authorizing the issuance and sale of $2 million in general obligation bonds or notes to finance water improvements at South Kohala and amending Ordinance No. 360 (197$-79 CIP Ordinance) to authorize the project . Informs this money, together with State funds, will be used to develop the Lalamilo Well water source. Although the County will be issuing bonds for the non-State portion of the project. cost, the principal repayment and interest plus administrative costs will be paid by Olohana and Mauna Loa; an agreement to this effect has been finalized; recommends Council receive and file the communication; and approve and adopt Bills 436 and 437 on second and final reading. The purpose of Bill 436 is to amend Ordinance No. 360 (197$-1979 CIP Ordinance) to authorize the South Kohala Water Development project and the purpose of Bill 437 is to authorize the issuance and sale of $2 million in general obligation bonds or notes to finance said project .
