Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
Comm. 1015 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 361) POLICE DEPARTMENT (FEDERALLY FUNDED POSITION) .
From Edward L. Silva, Director of Personnel
Services, dated November 30, 197$ submitting
for adoption, a resolution to amend the Salary
Ordinance as a result of creation of a new
position of Juvenile Diversion Coordinator SR-1$,
which was duly authorized by the Police Depart-
ment and the Administrative Review Committee in
accordance with Section 4-5 (c ) of the County
Charter. Informs the position is required to
• implement a new project funded under the
Federal Juvenile Justice Act ;
recommends Council approve the addition of one new position of
Juvenile Diversion Coordinator SR-1$ for the Police Department, and
the accompanying Resolution 361 be adopted to accomplish this purpose.
