Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
L, Comm. 1033 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 372) OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated January 1$,
1979 submitting for adoption, a resolution to
amend the Salary Ordinance for the Office of
Housing and Community Development . Informs the
position of Community Development Technician
SR-15 is needed to continue seeking (and obtaining)
HUD funds for the highly successful Block Grant
and other programs. This position, for which
Federal fundsi
w 11 be solely used, is required
because a similar position under the CETA Program
was "frozen" upon the resignation of the incumbent ;
recommends Council approve the transfer of one position of Community
Development Technician (Federal Grants) SR-15 from CETA Title II
(Federally Funded ) to Federal and State Funded for the Office of Housing
and Community Development ; and the accompanying Resolution 372 be
adopted to accomplish this purpose.
