Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
/64c., Comm. 1044: CHANGE IN EXPIRATION DATE FOR PENSION BOARD MEMBER
From Dr. Edward K. Fujimoto, Mayor's Administrative
Aide, dated January 25, 1979 advising that the
expiration date for Ms. Jean Hayashi who is
presently serving on the Pension Board is
December 31, 1979 rather than January 2$, 1979 as
approved by the County Council on September 10,
1975. The reason for this change is that
Ms. Hayashi was appointed to fill a five-year
term on September 17, 1975, with an ending date
of January 2$, 1979. However, because the actual
term should have been December 31, 1974 to
December 31, 1979, they are asking for this change
to keep the staggeredness as required by
Section 13-4 of the County Charter;
recommends Council accept the change in the expiration date for
PP
Ms. Jean Hayashi, Pension Board member, from January 2$, 1979 to
December 31, 1979.
