Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
Lc Comm. 1065 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 3$4) DEPARTMENT. OF PUBLIC WORKS
CETA TITLE VI (FEDERALLY FUNDED)
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated February 21, 1979 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the Salary Ordinance as a
result of creation of new positions which were duly
authorized by the Department of Public Works and
the Administrative .Review Committee in accordance
• with Section 4-5 (c ) of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the addition of three new positions of
Painter Helper WB-5 for the Department of Public Works, Bureau of
Building Construction and Inspection. The positions are• required to
repaint and renovate the interior/exterior of the County Annex
Building (old County Memorial Hospital) .
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 3$4 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose.
