Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
&( Comm. 965.6: KOHALA TASK FORCE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION CONTRACT
From Prosecuting Attorney Jon R. Ono dated
March 15, 1979 informing they are in the final
negotiating stages of contracting Mr. Andrew P.
Wilson and Mr. Stanley Roehrig as consultants and
requests authorization to hire them as special
counsel for the subject investigation;
recommends, pursuant to Section 5-2.5 of the County Charter, approval
Qf.the request of Prosecuting Attorney Jon R. Ono to employ
Mr. Andrew P. Wilson and Mr. Stanley Roehrig as special counsel for
the Kohala Task Force criminal investigation. The fees for special
counsel shall not exceed the sum of $10,000 as appropriated in
Ordinance No. 405, per Communication 965, Ad Hoc Committee on Kohala
Task Force Report No. 9, Second Amendment.
