Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1097: CROSSING GUARD PROGRAM
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated March 27,
1979 requesting that the necessary funds be
appropriated to the Police Department to
implement the crossing guard program in the
County of Hawaii, as mandated by Act 1$$,
amending Chapter 52, HRS. Transmits for review,
a copy of,a study which was conducted by the
department's Traffic Services Division outlining
the impact of the program;
recommends Council refer to the Committee of the Whole for consideration
in the 1979-1980 budget review.
