Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1102: 1978-1979 FINANCIAL AUDIT
From Finance Committee Chairman Harvey S. Tajiri
dated April 4, 1979 recommending the selection of
Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company as the auditor
for the fiscal year 1978-1979 to satisfy the
provision of Section 10-13 of the Charter which
provides for an independent audit at least once
each year. Also recommends that the Legislative
Auditor be authorized to negotiate a favorable
fee;
recommends Council approve the selection of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell &
Company as the auditor for fiscal years 1978-1979, 1979-1980, pursuant
to Section 10-13 of the County Charter.
Further recommends the Legislative Auditor be authorized to negotiate
a favorable fee for the audits.
