Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1104: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 407) DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
BUREAU OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE
WIN (FEDERALLY FUNDED)
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L. Silva
dated March 30, 1979 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the Salary Ordinance to add one
new position of Laborer I WB -2;
recommends Council approve the addition of one new position of
Laborer I WB -2 for the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Road
Construction and Maintenance (South Hilo) to provide one year employ-
ment to work incentive participants with full-time public service
employment.
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 407 be adopted to
accomplish this purpose.
