Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
Comm. 1126 : GRANT-IN-AID TO EAST HAWAII CULTURAL CENTER
From. Representative Jack K. Suwa, .. Chairman.,.
Committee on Finance, dated April 20, 1979
informing $50,000 grant-in-aid to the East
Hawaii Cultural Center for the restoration
and preservation of the old police station in
Hilo has been included in House Bill 1 which
was given final approval by the Hawaii State
Legislature and transmitted to the Governor
for his signature prior to enactment into law;
. . this amount is to be expended by the County of
Hawaii for the next fiscal biennium;
recommends the communication be placed on file; and request the
Chairman of the Committee on Finance to write to the Governor
asking for the release of $50,000 grant-in-aid to the East Hawaii
Cultural Council for the restoration and preservation of the old
police station in Hilo®
