Your Committee on Finance to which was referred :
. Comm. 1191: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
(Res. 454) OFFICE OF COUNTY COUNCIL
(FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDED-EXEMPT POSITIONS)
From Director of Personnel Services Edward L.
Silva dated June 20, 1979 transmitting for
adoption, a resolution to amend the salary
ordinance as a result of creation of temporary
new positions for the Office of County Council;
recommends Council approve. the addition of one new position of
Election Assistant (OHA) SR-15 and one new position of Election
Clerk I (OHA) SR-7for the Office of County Council, Office of
Hawaiian Affairs Program, and the accompanying Resolution 454 be
adoptedto accomplish this purpose.
The two State funded temporary positions to terminate on June 30,
1980 are needed to implement the provisions of the Office of
Hawaiian Affairs Program.
