Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 1212: INCREASE IN SALARY FOR THOMAS YEH, DEPUTY
CORPORATION COUNSEL, CHILD SUPPORT DIVISION
From Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess dated
July 11, 1979 recommending a raise in salary
for Mr. Thomas Yeh from an LS-4 (a) level
($15, 564) to an LS-6 (c ) level ($18,732) ,
effective July 1, 1979, in view of Mr. Yeh's
outstanding services in conjunction with the
Child Support Division and Mr. Bess' past
• representations to him that appropriate
raises would be forthcoming if high quality
• legal services are rendered . Informs the
Child Support Division is federally funded and
they are hopeful that the proposed increase in
salary will be offset by federal reimbursement ;
recommends Council accept the recommendation of Corporation Counsel
to raise the salary of Mr. Thomas Yeh, Deputy Corporation Counsel,
from an LS-4 (a) level to an LS-6 (c ) level, effective July 1, 1979.
